Students attend a recent Camp Fearless graduation ceremony.

Each summer, the Albuquerque Police Department hosts Camp Fearless – a free four-day camp for young people between the ages of 9 and 13 years old.

Each camp includes a variety of activities focused on team building, self-responsibility and education. The campers, after completing a mission in the DEA’s Drugs Cost and Consequences exhibit, are ultimately sworn in as Jr. DEA Agents.

This year, the department hosted five camps in the state. Get dates and more information about upcoming sessions here.
