(November 5, 2018) Pennsylvanians came out in large numbers during the most recent Take Back Day event. Locations across the state collected about 36,000 pounds of unused or expired medication at 306 collection sites.

Take-Back Day – held twice a year – is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs at designated locations throughout the country.

Since the fall of 2010, the state has collected 483,851 pounds of meds.

The next Take Back event will be April 27, 2019. But until then, find a year-round drop-off location near you.
