(South Coast Today, September 19) In September, officials from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration announced the launch of a program – 360 – that will work with the community to fight the local opioid epidemic.
During the press conference, DEA New England official Jon DeLena pushed the importance of using social media to connect with young people and educate them about the dangers of opioid misuse.
“We will assist in any way possible. DEA and its partners are committed to finding a solution and we’re in it for the long-term,” he said. “You will see us on the street and in committee meetings.” Read more.
