Police: Tampa man sold drugs laced with enough fentanyl to kill 'thousands'

hardcuffs behind bars graphic(ABC Action News, July 11) Tampa man Myron Ray is facing drug charges for trafficking heroin and Oxycodone laced with fentanyl.

According to local detectives, some of the “Oxycodone” pills were actually 100% fentanyl and the buyers had no idea.

"They are not buying what they believed they were getting," head of the Tampa Police Department’s Opioid Task Force Cpl. Kenny Petrillo said. "The idea of fentanyl creeping into our community it's enough to take out a lot of people. It's a dangerous drug." Read more.
