Md. woman pleads guilty in teen's overdose death

(Herald-Mail Media, April 4)  A Maryland woman pled guilty in a Martinsburg, West Virginia court to aiding and abetting the distribution of heroin, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Betsy Steinfeld Jividen. 

Sykebia Stewart was charged and sentenced to prision in connection with the apparent overdose death of local teen, Jorge Armando Mercado-Medrano. As part of a plea agreement, she is expected to be sentenced to eight years in prison.
