(CNN, March 29) At the National Rx Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit in Atlanta, President Obama announced steps that will be taken to fight drug addiction. Among them include $11 million to states to expand treatment therapies using medication assistance, increasing the limit on the number of patients a doctor can treat with these medications, adding another $11 million to states to use naloxone, the opioid reversal drug, and establishing a Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Task Force.
