Upcoming DEA Museum Program Will Explore Fentanyl and Fake Pill Crisis

Fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid, has been involved in a growing number of overdose deaths in recent years.
In fact, last year, DEA seized enough fentanyl to kill every American.
On February 22 at 1:00 pm EST, the DEA Museum will host a live panel discussion about fentanyl and fake pills in the American mainstream.
Panelists will include:
- DEA’s Chief of Operations Raymond Donovan
- Senior Forensic Chemist Emily Lockhart, and
- Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Special Operations Division, Donald Im
The event will also feature a short Q&A.
